Sexual violence is a part of patriachal oppression. Traces of violence remain invisible, they distort our perception of our own physique and our ability to speak. How is it possible to speak through one's own shame and injury? Where is the space to talk when so many of us have shared experiences? We have an absence of words and so they remain anchored in our bodies, part of a structural problem.
